University of Waterloo

I've always been told that UW is great for engineering, but recently, I'm hearing that it's not that great for chemical engineering since a lot of the money goes into electrical and computer. I was recommended that UofT is better because the other engineering disciplines aren't as neglected.

What's your view on this?

and if it is true, what would you do in my shoes: pick UW's co-op program (which is much more diverse than UofT's PEY program), or UofT's "better education"?

the quality of education will most likely be the same
you should choose based on other factors
most people here dont know much abuot canadian universities, i suggest looking into the studentawards.com forums

The only thing you'll find at the studentawards.com forum are flame wars. I think you'd be better off sticking to this place :p
