Has anyone ever lived in them? Are they nice for the price. I really dont want to stay in a dorm but it would be nice to be close to campus but not actually on campus.

Yasmine, my daughter lived in them last year and is trying to get into them during her senior year. They are VERY nice but very expensive. They are furnished and have a refrigerator and I think a microwave too. There is also some security in order to get into the building.

I don’t plan on living there, so i don’t know too much about the inside-

But, in terms of proximity they are actually on the campus (accross from all the sports facilities- they overlook the soccer and tennis courts. If you are a freshman outside of 50 miles, you have to live on campus, just so you know. It really isn’t bad at all (Go with turner or stratford if you want nice dorms… they are BRAND NEW and larger than most apartments)

Are they hard to get, I want to get the 1 bed room, do they fill up very fast? Is their like a priority deadline or something???

I have no idea. Maybe you should look at the housing website? I think that makes sense…

[Housing & Food Services](http://www.uc.edu/housing/)

And really, Turner dorms are larger, and stratford is just as nice (they have their own rec center and cool house lounges). just a little FYI

Yes, they are a bit hard to get. One reason is that you can get a nice single appartment. Most of the rooms that I saw were NOT shared rooms, although the appartment can be shared. You need to see it and not just ask about it here. Check out all of the dorms/appartments. UC does have a good variety to choose from.
