<p>How much can a researcher/professor at a university help you in your application if you plan to apply to that school?...I'm talking about elite schools like Stanford.</p>
<p>oh and also, would it be ok to send say a stanford rec to harvard? will that instead jeopardize chances at harvard or will be good?</p>
