<p>Anyone ever heard of the University Scholar Award? Son received the scholarship letter from UMBC yesterday saying he is selected for the University Scholar Award (18k per year (72k over 4 years), we are IS) but I can't seem to find any information on the web site. He didn't do the priority app and he also didn't do the separate app needed for the 6 Scholars Programs. The listing of merit scholarships has no mention of the University Scholar Award... Any insights?</p>
