<p>Did anyone get something in the mail about being selected as a “University Scholar” to BU? I received a package today about it, but I never applied for any scholarship, nor did I indicate a need for financial aid.</p>
<p>(Sorry if this is a repeated thread; I couldn’t find anything about this on the CC BU board.)</p>
<p>I got it, too. I think it’s just a scholarship that they give to good students?</p>
<p>On the website in the applicantlink area, it says:</p>
<p>“I am pleased to inform you of your selection as a University Scholar for the 2009/2010 academic year. This distinction carries with it a half-tuition scholarship. The University Scholarship is awarded to a select group of students with exceptional academic achievements. Congratulations on the successes that have led to your selection as a University Scholar.”</p>
