Hi guys! I’ve been creepin’ ‘round the BU forum in desperate search of some information to do with financial assisstance at BU. I’m very interested in going to BU, and had it not been for the ginormous pricetag I probably would have applied ED haha so needless to say its my first choice. But seeing as its like 50 thou a year its highly unlikely that i’ll be able to attend without some kind of scholarship my only problem is that i will most likely qualify for zero financial aid due to my parents’ income.
I was wondering if anyone had the stats for the university scholarship recipients or possibly the deans scholarship or the founders grant?

If any of you could take a look at my personal info and let me know about my possible chances for a scholarship that would be great! :)

SAT: 2140 (m-690, cr-700, w-750)
GPA: 3.91 weighted, not sure what it is unweighted
APs: only two and only in my senior year, but I have beefed up my schedule every year (starting with two honors classes and adding more) not sure if they’ll think thats at all impressive :
ECs: leader of a subcommitee for a local community service group
treasurer of my schools environmental club
member ofthe make a wish foundation club at my school
also i volunteer at the local hospital
pretty good essays
awesome recommendations (i hope haha) from my calc teacher and lit teacher
i’m indian and i plan to major in biomedical engineering, if any of that helps at all.

oh one more quick question! do you guys think that getting in contact with an admissions counselor would help at all? or would it not really make a difference in the whole scholarship process?

thanks so so much for helping me out!
