<p>University Studies is not necessarily harder or easier to get into in terms of applying to the school. Of course if you are applying and your major is more competitive, such as engineering, there is a chance they may admit you and place you in University Studies instead. It's rather easy to transfer into many majors, but some are restricted and therefore you just need to watch the classes you take the first year. Basically, you should be able to get into whatever major you want if you maintain your GPA and you are allowed to remain in University Studies until you have 60 credited hours.</p>
