University Suggestion for MS in Structural Engineering.

Hello All

My GRE score is 301. 69 % in UG Civil Engineering. Topper 80%. Have 3 Yrs of IT and Structural engineering experience.Good Lors.
I am applying for MS in Structural Engineering.Could you please suggest the universities that I might have chances to getting admitted.

Some Universities I listed are below.Review and Please Suggest if any other good university in terms of employer reputation.

TAMU
Virginia Tech
University of Wisconsin -Madison
Lehigh University.
North Carolina State University
Pennsylvania state university
Arizona state University
University of Southern California.
Sunny Buffalo.

You might expand your list to include universities in major metropolitan areas where there are many civil engineering firms. For a Masters degree, the ones you mention are fine. You have to decide whcih ones have the kind of program that appeals to you.

Thanx for your suggestion.Could you please some good universities in major cities of US.No Ivy league colleges, as it is costly.

The cost is always high for international students. Ivy league schools are not necessarily the best for engineering anyway. Look into the urban member of the AITU.

Hi xraymancs

I am taking chance to apply University of California Davis or University(Structural Engineering) of California San diego(Structural Engineering). I have to apply any one of these two, as I have plans to apply for other universities as well.

Could you tell me where I have fair/good chance of getting into it admit.

UCD and UCSD are good programs and pretty selective. They are probably harder to get into than some on your original list.

Yeah,I was thinking the same. What about University of Colorado Boulder and University of Minnesota Twin Cities

Good schools, probably a bit less selective than the others but not much.
