Hello, I'm a rising senior in New Jersey and I want to find some good Electrical engineering universities in the UK. Preferably Scotland, by anywhere in the UK would be good.
Scores:

Any suggestions would be awesome. Also I have around 200 hours of service in robotics

well Oxford and Cambridge do general engineering courses. However, if you are dead set on electrical engineering, Imperial College is by far your best bet

Imperial College London is the best choice for specialized electrical engineering. At Cambridge, you can take two years of general engineering and then do a concentration on electrical engineering in the last two years.

But wouldn’t it be very unlikely for me to get into cambridge?

From what I know, you have almost no chance with Cambridge or Imperial, just not enough relatd AP 5s.

Yeah I had already assumed that, but are there any good engineering schools that I could get into or at least a reasonable reach?

If your heart is fixed on UK universities for EE, I’d suggest to try traditional engineering powerhouses such as Manchester, Liverpool, Southamption, etc. Their admission is more likely for your stats.

Personally, I do not see much/any advantage to do EE outside US, at least not professionally.

Would those schools also be good for computer science? Also I want to go to college in the uk because I want to eventually find work there and live in the UK rather than in the us

They are at least decent, with Liverpool somewhat weaker. For CS, the big schools in Scottland are all quite good, St Andrews, Edinburg, Glasgow.

Good luck. London is my favorite city.

Thank you do much and sorry for bothering you with all these questions but I have a couple more if you don’t mind.
If I don’t visit the school will that count against me?
I really like Glasgow st Andrews and Southampton but do they require interviews?
Also what would they be looking for in essays?

Sorry, I am more familiar wit Oxbridge admission, which 1) has no visiting requirement/preference, 2) requires interview, an essential component, and 3) expects essay focusing on your chosen major (why this field, why you).

Ah ok, thank you.
