University Suspenison Appeal Critique please!!!

I am writing to appeal my university suspension as of December 24, 2014. I am currently on university suspension because my GPA is not at least a 2.0.I would love to be reinstated this spring semester. As of June 5, 2013 I was suspended for an entire year. I failed horribly my first two semesters. During that year I went to CSN and maintained a GPA higher than 3.0. I came back to UNLV and I was reinstated the summer of 2014. I should have written this letter earlier but I rarely checked my email during the winter break.
Fall 2014 was my first semester back at UNLV. I had a job, pledged a fraternity, got into a car accident in the middle of the semester, almost lost my house because of financial issues, but that didn’t stop me from passing all my classes except MATH 124. I failed my math class mainly because of missing at least four classes. I never went to office hours, or tutoring services like my advisor Sofie Burton recommended before the semester started. I also skipped some math classes to do fraternity related activities. I studied more fraternity knowledge than the math class. That was not a great decision because academics come first before worrying about the fraternity. I should have dropped the class so I could have ended my fall 2014 semester with a 3.4 instead of a 2.5. I failed my math mid-term and that was an indicator I should have dropped the class to protect my GPA. I never like to give up on anything. I was too stubborn to drop the class or ask for help. I feel that one semester is not enough time to raise my GPA. I have only taken classes at UNLV for three semesters and the first two make it hard for me to raise it in just one semester. Give me a chance spring semester and I will definitely get my GPA together.
Furthermore, if I am to be reinstated I will retake all five classes that put F’s on my transcript. After the spring semester I will commit my entire summer to taking classes each term to get back on track for graduation. As long as I put my school first before any extracurricular activities, passing all my classes will not be a problem. If there is struggle in any of my classes, I will get help from a professor or tutoring services. I will drop the class if it is too late to get a good grade in a class. I have VA benefits ready to be used for school. I need the hold removed from my account.

In conclusion, I really want to come back to boost my grade point average. If I am denied, I will try again for the summer. If I get denied for the summer, I will go and get a full time job to help my family out with bills. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to consider this appeal
Sincerely,
Undergrad Denzell

This is my rough draft what do you think?

Also sorry it wasn’t spaced to make it easier to read. It seems like it is too long right. Some irrelevant info put into it.

I’m not sure I understand. You spent a year at UNLV and ended up getting an academic suspension for a year, then returned and spent your time pledging a fraternity instead of going to class? It looks to me like the college already gave you an opportunity to rethink your priorities and you didn’t take it. I’m not sure anything you write now can sway them. Have you thought about going back to CSN for a year? You could work on your study skills, improve your GPA, and possibly transfer to a 4-year school after you graduate from there.

You are right this is basically mission impossible. The only thing that sucks is CSN classes don’t count towards UNLV GPA or I would be good. Failing this one class really messed me up for this semester I passed all 4 of my other classes. This is going to be extremely difficult but any suggestion to make it better or Am I doomed no matter what I say?

I’ll accept whatever decision they make but I will at least try. I won’t give up on school no matter what
