University to community college and transfer to other Uni

<p>I currently attend Cal Poly Pomona and my gpa is about 2.5, its been getting better and I've straighten up.
I am 22, and I had to miss 2 years of college for personal reason(s).
Is it possible to move to CC, then possibly transfer to a UC?? </p>

<p>I have about 65 credit and I wouldn't mind wasting a year in CC. However, if it will take longer than a year then it may be a problem.</p>

<p>Opinions will be much appreciated.</p>

<p>I don’t know anything about the UC transfer system but going to a CC with 65 credits seems illogical to me. </p>
