Hey, guys I had a few questions about UCR.

I plan to transfer to UCR in 2013, and was planning to live off campus. My EFC is 0, and was wondering if I choose to live off-campus, as it is considerably cheaper, would I still be eligible for a similar amount of fin aid? I'm transferring from a CCC, and I have a Cal Grant Reserve award (around 10K if I remember correctly), so would that cover my tuition for 2 years? Basically, would it be financially wiser to live on or off-campus? I also intend to join honors at UCR, if that is relevant. In addition, I'd be a Business-Accounting/Political Science double major, with a 3.7 (or Business-Accounting Major + Political Science Minor, if I can't double major). Any input on UCR's business accounting and/or political science (specifically IR) would be appreciated.

In terms of off-campus living, I was planning to live in University Towers, but I've read negative reviews about it on Yelp + Google Reviews. Would it possible to live in UT for my first year at UCR, and then Glen Mor (or other on-campus apartments) for senior year? What is the price difference (estimate) between an on-campus apartment and off-campus apartment? If I moved to UCR in August/September, what would an apartment at UT cost?

My college transfer choices currently include: UCR, UCI, UCSB, UCSD, Cal State Fullerton/Long Beach/ SLO / Pomona.

Finally, can UCR transfer get a regents and/or chancellor scholarship?
