University Towers Roommates

I've applied to stay at a university towers dorm for fall/spring based on everything i've read online about all my options. I chose this because I liked the look of the rooms in comparison to the castilian and also because I'm very social and can study with noise. Because i'm coming as an exchange student from aus I'm semi clueless about a few things though so if anyone has any info for me about the towers I would really appreciate it!! :)

how does the roommate allocation work? cos I dont know anyone I obviously wont be putting in a roommate request form so does this mean i'll just be randomly allocated and will I be told my roommates before I get there?? Pretty sure i'll be in a 2bed1bath with 2 people in each room btw

-also any general info would be helpful like is it easy to meet people there?/many parties around? being under legal drinking age for the first time in 2 years is going to be tough i reckon haha

cheers :)

I’m an exchange student from Aus too  Too bad we’re not staying in the same dorm…I’m at the Castilian. I’m not sure if both dorms work the same way but I got a roommate compatability form which I filled out. If you already have someone in mind to room with you just request it on the form. Otherwise they will randomly allocate you with someone.

Fill out the roommate compatability form as suggested and you’ll get a roommate by matching with your profile. If not then you’ll get a roommate by “pot luck”. That is what we call it in Texas.

I’m pretty sure you’re not allowed to search for roommates on CC. Sorry, I don’t make the rules!

haha im not searching for a roommate though was just asking about how the roommate allocation system works
