I'm a Freshman moving into a Studio room at Towers this fall and am wondering what is included in the dorm (furniture wise). So far what I got from the floor plan is that the room comes with a desk, bed, kitchen table (and bedside table), and a "kitchen" (although the kitchen doesn't look as big as it does in the floor plans for other rooms). What is included in the kitchen? Also other rooms get a couch, does mine? Also how spacious is it? Is it about the size of the on campus dorms but with only one bed? (Kind of how I picture it right now).

I can't find any pictures of what the dorm looks like, and was not able to see it when I toured a couple months ago. Does anyone have/know where I could get a video or picture of what the dorm looks like?

Also, any opinions on my choice to go for a single dorm my Freshman year? I may be rushing, but still deciding.

Thanks!

I lived in Towers a few years ago but never went into a studio dorm. Good luck living in towers though, altoguh the place is fun and if you want to party there is one every night, the entire place is a dump. All the appliances are extremelty old andd dirty the entire building is dusty and run down and no matter how much clean everything is always dirty. The food is pretty terrible as well. So best of luck to you living there, its a freshman frat house which is fun, I am in a fraternity BTW so it was fun, but I would never ever live there again or even reccommend it to anyone, in a fraternity or not. The kitchen doesnt come with anything dish wise, I had a table and chairs, a desk a bed, couches, a coffee table, and a tv stand, IDK about the studio apartments though, you should call the office.

From what I hear they’re redoing it, so hopefully it’ll be better. And I contacted them, they said I got basically all the same type of furniture that goes in a regular dorm (couch, stove top, desk, bed, table, etc).

I’m getting a single room too! But my parents won’t let me go for an apartment cause they think I’ll get raped, so I’m in a private dorm. I’d make sure you get a tour first though. That’s pretty crucial.
