I'm applying as a transfer student and I'm supposed to upload my university transcript to minerva.
If my current semester's grades aren't already out, should I wait until then to upload it or should I upload whatever I have now and then update it later (if that's even possible)?

Without a bit more information, your question is a bit difficult to answer. I would say if your current transcript shows final grades from your first term (or quarter, etc.) then I would upload it. Update it when your current term grades are final.

Yep, that’s exactly what I meant. Thank you!

Did u upload? I’m also a transfer student from ubc. Since the deadline for submission of supporting document is June 1. I think i will wait my all year grades come out in late April.

Hi! Yes, I did. I waited until first semester grades were out then I uploaded it a few days ago. I’m hoping for an early decision but I suppose if they want to wait until second semester grades are also out then you can just update your transcript when that happens.

Why are you transferring from UBC, might I ask? I’m also applying there, haven’t decided where to go yet…

Hey! I’m a High School Senior studying in an American curriculum school in Saudi Arabia. I was wondering if anyone on the site could chance me for getting into the undergraduate electrical engineering program at McGill. Here are my credentials:

Unweighted GPA: 3.85
Weighted GPA: 4.3

SAT I: 800 Math, 670 C.R, 710 W (2180)
SAT II’s: Math 1 (740), Math 2(720), Physics (690), Chemistry (700), Biology M (730)
TOEFL: 114

AP Biology: 5
AP Language & Composition: 4
Taking AP Calculus AB, AP Computer Science, and AP Chemistry examinations at the end of the year.
*Did NOT take AP Physics (taking regular Physics this year), so this could majorly effect my admission chances. Although, I did study for the physics SAT II and got 690. *

NOTE: I have a lot of E.Cs, including Habitat for Humanity Service Trip, Habitat club Treasurer, Debate Club V.P of Education, Student Council President (Grade 9), Student Council 11th Grade Representative, Model United Nations delegate, School Newspaper Writer (Grade 9, 11), National Honors Society Member (NHS), Basketball JV/V Team, Volleyball JV.

If it helps, I am a Canadian citizen and am applying all over Canada, but I really want to be able to have the change to go to McGill.

Much appreciated.

If u r transferring from a Canadian university, McGill will release the result in late May to June so no bother sending your transcript twice.

UBC is a great university, highly recommended.
But McGill has better arts program and provides much more internship opportunities than UBC.hmm…That’s the reason why I decide to transfer.

Of course you will get in.
Good Luck
