University with the most nerds/geeks?

I'm into nerdy/geeky stuff like all kinds of technology, making websites, developing apps and building things and creating new business ideas. Im not one of those people who wants to "get weird" "YOLO" or "hammertime" every day.

I dont want to go somewhere with less than 2000 students or people that are so nerdy they dont like to party on the weekends - or the ocasional weekday ;)

what schools would be good?

Let me know if anyone feels the same way and where your going to school!

MIT, CalTech, University of Chicago, Rensselaer, or any other Tech school.

The “nerd/geek” population at Harvard is greater than that of Arizona State University. Get the idea? It’s pretty simple

In general, techy/engineering-focused schools are the ones you would be looking for. I think Carnegie Mellon would be great for you if you’re really into “nerdy” stuff :D

I stayed overnight a couple of months ago, and I’d say that most people there are on the nerdy side, which I assume is what you’re interested in.

MIT and Caltech.

@devrybound, ASU’s geek population is probably among the lowest (lower than UA). :)

While there are some schools that are more known for those sorts of students, you’ll actually find that almost every school will have students similar to you. There will always be students that share those same interests as you. Instead of choosing a school based on stereotypes, pick a school for bigger reasons like how they teach, strong departments, etc.

That being said, I hope you do end up at a school where you will have peers to share your interests with.
