UNLV for graduate school ... MPA right now, and possibly Phd in Public Affairs.

I worked for 5 years and paid my entire debt off from SUNY Albany... Just established residency in Nevada... Less than 8k a year for residents.

Chose it over Florida Atlantic, Arizona St., & UCLA.... simply for the price, and job market in Vegas.

Vegas has a job market?

Does it even have water?

Intelligent response.

I don't know anything about UNLV, but I enjoyed reading the title of your thread. ;)

ROFL SENIORSLACKER I didn't notice that.

I think bang for your buck is not entirely a bad thing with education. Obviously, ivy league and public ivy's are wonderful, but I never had the money to go to one of those schools.
For people working their way through college, who do not desire a 100k bill at the end of their studies, it is difficult to decide where to move and what to study.
I take graduate public admin. classes right now (with 18 credits to go for my MPA); and take grad business admin. classes for an MBA as well (not matriculated yet; about 33 to go) and both degrees may end up costing me less than 30k.
