<p>Today is a happy day for me: Accepted to Berkeley this evening and to Northwestern just now. In at Rochester two weeks ago with some scholarship. And UTDallas with a full-ride early Feb. </p>

@whitney: don’t count yourself out. I got rejected at NU too, yet I received a likely from Columbia. I was quite shocked when I was turned down outright by NU, but I guess this is all a crapshoot for the most part. I hope, like myself, that a ‘no’ from NU will not bar you from entrance to the ivies!</p>

<p>Got rejected from a few schools today but it doesn’t even matter because I got into USC for screenwriting! So stoked, USC is my dream school and I never thought I’d get into their film school, so that’s pretty awesome. Hoping they pull through for scholarships. If they do, then I’m most likely going there. I’m also assuming I’ll be rejected from Brown and Boston U for theatre, but even if I’m not, USC is a huge contender.</p>

<p>@Enigmaaa: I still have JHU, Carnegie Mellon, Duke and a few IVY schools to hear from: I had beefed up my college list after I got flat out rejected from Columbia ED.</p>
