Officially, my school doesn't give out a class rank. However there are percentiles listed on our transcripts. I know I'm number one because I have the highest weighted gpa in the school (which is what used to be used to determine class rank and is now used to determine our percentiles). In the common app I put that my rank was specifically 1/500. My guidance counselor put in my rec that I have the highest weighted gpa in my class. Beyond my rec and the transcripts percentiles (that say im 99%) however, there is no other indication of my status as val. Do you think that is sufficient or will I look a little odd for putting myself as number one?

I think your counselor putting down that you have the highest weighted GPA is already sufficient.

Thanks. Appreciate it.
