Hey everyone, I'm an international student hoping to study at GT and I registered here to get some help about the application process. I noticed GT asks me to upload my UNofficial transcript and self-report my academic record.
The problem is the only transcripts I have from my school are the official ones (with signature) and I'm not sure my school even does unofficial ones. And even if they do, it's currently on holidays and won't resume until sometime in January (which is after the deadline)
Would it be okay for me to just upload the official one? Please answer, thank you.

I believe what they want is for you to self-report your scores, so you just input it yourself from your “official” transcript. Then after you’re admitted, you send the official transcript. So you don’t have to worry about any transcript deadline at this point.

Ok, but it says that International students should upload a transcript to them. I feel this would be better as I’m a little unsure of how to fill in the SRAR form because my school’s curriculum is different from what they have on there. I don’t want to fill in wrong info that might hurt my application or create any “discrepancies” when I do send the official transcript later. :/

You can upload the “official” one. Usually official just means sent directly by the school, and unofficial is secondhand (ie your school—>you—>GTech). Don’t worry about it.

i applied as an international freshman as well, and just opened the transcript I received from my school, and uploaded it!
