@WhipeeDip I’m in the same situation as you! My unofficial transcript says that my major is Pre-Engineering not Chemical Engineering.
@MsDotsy @WhipeeDip http://admit.washington.edu/Welcome/International/Conditions/Major this explains the majors
@HomeInNevada Thank you!
@whipeeDip I applied Physics from California and my unofficial transcript just says “Pre-science” as well so I don’t know if they have your major in yet.
Most freshmen are placed in premajors so I’d say it’s only normal to see “pre-” something in your unofficial transcript. Plus I think it’s kind of cool because if I decided I didn’t want to do psychology for whatever reason, I could go into a different science major
So I applied for nursing as my first choice major but on my unofficial transcript under “College”, I have arts & sciences…which does not include nursing. Then next to it, under “Major”, it says pre-nursing. Is this just because I am not officially a nursing student? Or did I not get DA? If anyone has any information, that would be great!
Congrats to everyone who received their letters and/or had their unofficial transcripts load! Excited to be a Husky!
Edit: Sorry, I just saw the link above. Thanks!
me and my friend got accepted yesterday and our other friend didn’t even receive his letter? We all live in the same neighborhood? You think they give acceptance letters first? Hopefully not!!
@phillipiscool123 Did You Mean The Mail Has Already Come today and no letter? Has he tried to download the transcript?
My unofficial transcript says Pre-Health Science. Anyone know how this is different from just Pre-Science?
Do you guys think it has to do with when you submitted the application? I did it like 5 minutes before deadline and still haven’t gotten mine. I’m right by UW.
Everything is super confusing bc some people said that UW sent the letters all out on Friday, but that would indicate that people in the same area should receive at the same time. But it also seems that there are some students with fantastic stats near Seattle that have not received a letter, but other students near them have received their letter. Also nobody has received a rejection as far as I can tell, which could also support the theory that acceptances are sent before rejections. But tbh I am not sure about either theory and thinking about it makes my head hurt @-)
@nattycat66 What major did you put on your application?
Me and my two other friends all live in the same neighborhood. Yesterday me and one of my friend Recievers our acceptance letters, but the other bro didn’t recieve his? Yall think they denied him? We’re about 50 mins south of seattle
I just wanted to report that my DC received their acceptance letter yesterday and we are in state. BUT, she cannot load her unofficial transcript as of a few minutes ago. So, I think it is a great sign if you can load it. If you can’t, then it means absolutely nothing. Hard not to be impatient, but for those still waiting hopefully good news is soon arriving in your mailbox.
@phillipiscool123 that’s weird. what are all your stats?
@ferdinand32 hopefully they don’t send rejection letters later, I want my other homies to have the feeling of being accepted and not worry
Still no OOS students with letters correct?
@woodsmom - I sighed a sigh of relief.
@ferdinand32 I did pre-health because it seemed as if that was the closest thing to undeclared in the sciences. im just confused now how some people are seeing pre-science as if it was also undeclared
Just a heads up. What @woodsmom said is extremely possible for a majority of us. Just remember that this unofficial transcript thing doesn’t work for everyone… So yeah. Don’t fret.
