I guess I didn’t get in
I’m confused. Has anyone gotten in undecided via the unofficial transcript? It seems like everyone who got their unofficial transcript got in Direct Admit.
Nope, mine transcript says “pre-major” on it, so I assume I was just RA.
the in state acceptance rate is around 69% (so I’ve heard) and I can’t imagine so many of us getting rejected even with high-average stats. I’m sure the transcript trick is lacking SOME accuracy considering the admissions office wasn’t even aware of the “trick”.
To those who can see their transcript though, congrats on your acceptance to those who haven’t- don’t be devastated until you get official confirmation with a letter
@uwhusky1997 I REALLY hope this is the case! I was very surprised to find out I did not get in when my friend did. We both have neck-to-neck stats.
@Paradoxical1 what are your stats? I’ve seen people with fairly high stats who cannot see their transcript…
I’m from NorCal and still waiting to hear. Does anyone know if they’re sending out acceptances first/ when I should hear?
@uwhusky 3.54 GPA (UW), 1860 SAT, I have ~20 units worth of community college (honors) courses I’ve been a Boy Scout for practically all my life (achieved Eagle Scout), tons of community service, varsity water polo and swimming.
And you dont see a transcript? I have a feeling we have a good chance, you sound highly qualified to me with those EC’s
@uwhusky1997 I don’t see a transcript. When I open the financial aid status page, there is no ID# next to my name like a lot of people who can see their transcripts have.
@uwhusky1997 I saw some people with 1650-1750 SAT’s with similar GPA’s on the acceptance thread. By all means, congrats to them, but I really feel like I should’ve gotten in.
@paradoxical1 Do you know for sure you were rejected? You can always appeal!
@girlfromworld1 I’m not 100% that I was rejected. I’m just basing this off of whether or not I can view my unofficial transcript, which is what the general consensus is as to whether or not you were accepted.
I have a 1620 and a 3.64 yet I haven’t gotten a letter… On top of being in state, which is strange. I am aware of my low stats but I feel that my EC’s make me qualified… You have high SAT’s and very impressive EC’s @Paradoxical1 so I’m sure you shouldn’t lose hope yet
@uwhusky1997 I’m trying to stay optimistic, but at the same time it’s hard not to believe that the transcript trick is valid, as it’s been confirmed (even if unofficially) by years past. I guess I’ll just have to wait for the envelope.
Anyone from Southern California get a letter yet?
@erochh no one has gotten letters outside Washington State
Hey guys my cost of attendance page loaded today - so it doesn’t show up as 0 for everything anymore. DId anyone else’s just load too?
My cost of attendance loaded yesterday (with actual costs, not just $0), as did my unofficial transcript. Still waiting for the letter! (Northern Cal resident)
