Unofficial Transcript Trick

@kinglime‌ Oh wow thanks! I didn’t know you could access it that way! that makes more sense

@sRina97 Yes I have. The two left tabs I have are messages and contact us. When I go to fininacial aid I have a message that says “The University of Washington’s Office of Student Financial Aid does not have a record of your application for the year indicated. Please check the year for which you are making an inquiry. Generally, students should expect to wait anywhere from two to five weeks from the time of application, to the time that application information is available though this system.” So I should assume it is because I never applied for aid?

@HomeinNevada try what @kinglime‌ said

I have tried both ways and neither works.

@sRina97‌ Thanks so much for your patience & help. My transcript loads, I click on financial aid status, but have no cost of attendance tab. Worried …

@HomeinNevada I didn’t apply for financial aid, so I’m wondering the same thing … wishful thinking? Glimmer of hope?

@Brianna3‌ no problem! Don’t worry about it! Mine only loaded today so I’m pretty sure they are still in process of loading the rest. @HomeInNevada‌

Did your unofficial transcript load? @Brianna3

Whoops just saw your comment. Maybe that is it! @Brianna3

@HomeInNevada‌ @Brianna3 Yea that’s probably why guys!

I saw someone post that some people in Oregon received their letter today? I hope I see something in my mailbox today!!

My FA says total resources $400
But my cost of attendance is $49,718
lol, how do those numbers make sense at all?

@HomeInNevada … Let’s hope. @sRina97‌ When did your unofficial transcript load? And where are you located?

fingers crossed that we get it today!!

@kinglime‌ Your stats are excellent. I’d be shocked if you didn’t get in.

@curlyhair1997‌ Where are you seeing total resources? I have:
Cost Description Cost Amount
Estimated Tuition and Fees $34,461
Books and Supplies $1,206
Room and Board $11,310
Personal Expenses $2,265
Transportation $414
Direct Loan Fees $62
Total Cost of Attendance $49,718

@ferdinand32
In the tab: Resources Review/Update

These are the reported or calculated resources that the Office of Student Financial Aid has used to determine your eligibility for aid. If you see “Expected Student Contribution” or “Expected Parent Contribution”, these are figures calculated using information from a FAFSA you filed. If you have been awarded scholarships, loans, or other educational aid that does not appear in the list below or is listed incorrectly, fill in the “Additional Resources Information” below to tell us of the update. Changes in your resources may require us to revise your aid award.
Total Resources $400

My Cost of attendee looks exactly the same as yours so I guess maybe they haven’t finalized FA yet?

@curlyhair1997‌ I have $118,716 for mine hmm. OH it’s the amount they expect your parents to contribute based on your income you provided on FAFSA!

@curlyhair1997‌ I think that’s all the number means, it’s like the money they expect you can provide based on their calculations

@curlyhair1997‌ Wait are you OOS? Cause OOS doesn’t really receive financial aid
