Hopefully that’s number of expected enrollments. I think UW generally has like a 38% yield, but I wouldn’t be surprised see the acceptance rate drop below 50%…

I wouldn’t be surprised if it dropped below 50% as well, its supposed to this year anyway from what I heard/read. But lets be honest. A drop from 50% to around 20% is ridiculous .-.

Letters were sent yesterday? Does this mean our unofficial transcripts should have loaded already? Ahhh either way good luck everyone. UW is beautiful.
@cwordsworth12 nobody’s had a transcript load this year that I know of. Some residents might get letters today as well!
Based on recent years, around 6,400 is class size, and around 16,000 to 17,000 is number admitted. The difference this year is that it’s out of 36,000 instead of 30,000.
Hopefully, the Seattle area will start receive letters today, and unofficial transcripts will start loading for applicants across the country.

I might get a letter tomorrow. Mail in my country is from Sunday-Thursday. But it may also come later. I’m hoping for that gold envelope .-.

They also send emails to international students right? For me it depends completely on whether they mailed it as “important/priority” or not. It could mean the difference between a few days and a few weeks.

My transcript loads only because I’ve been accepted to another UW campus. Do you see the links under “after you’ve been admitted” in the admission section? @Wusawu
That’s how many freshman that they plan to enroll but there will be about 15,000-17,000 admitted !!!
I’m starting to lose my mind. The wait is ridiculous. December 1st. Its been more than 4 months. I’m not a patient person. I can’t handle this…

Accepting 17000/36500 is a 46% acceptance rate. That’s a tough one!
