I have a friend who said he got accepted today. They called him on the phone. They told him that they will post the decision online at 4pm. He sent his transcript late maybe that’s why they call him on the phone
I was denied for full time, so I applied for part-time and was accepted that way. You are limited to 8 credit hours only, but it can be online or on campus. Still considered a student, just don’t get all the perks of full student status. And after you take 4 on campus, in classroom classes, you can transfer from part-time to full that way and you have a better chance. I didn’t get to do that, last semester I changed my classes to online at the last minute. I didn’t know that bit of information then, or I would have stayed on campus.
Even still, how is he an exception to re? I wish I could’ve sent them my new phone number. It change 2 months after I sent them the other one on my app.

@jmarie26 ok. Thanks for the info I looked online and it says you can’t apply if you were denied. Is that a new thing or maybe not updated their website? Sorry for the questions

Has anyone clicked on the Pay Bills/Manage Student Finances link? I don’t remember access to it before, but access is there now and a PID is listed. Probably overthinking this way too much, but hoping it’s a good sign.

I didn’t have any trouble. I applied as soon as I was denied last year and was accepted part-time within a few days. So, maybe the website just isn’t updated. It at least gets your foot in the door by doing part-time if you are able.
so are we supposed to receive a phone call for our decision? i highly doubt that. way too much work for the university
@jennie11 I have that too, also if i click my academics and “view my internal transcript” theres a PID there

@jennie11 I have that too. I wish I could remember if access was there before!! I was also able to add an authorized user to view billing etc.
the internal transcript is new, ive gone through connect carolina mm by mm in the last couple months. i even tried to searched for classes lol
We were all given PID’s in the beginning, but not directly. I called in about my transcripts and they asked for it. There’s an online portal to find your PID too for those of you that are curious.
Already told my employer that I might faint at work later while tutoring someone.
I can confirm I too have all of the items discussed in this thread within my access in Connect Carolina. If I recall, last year it came out around 2PM, but I may be mistaken.
