unofficial UW transcript

yes i am currently freaking out. Anyone know if an associates degree mean anything for freshman admissions?

i don’t think an associates degree means anything. although i don’t know. does anyone find it odd that UW hasn’t said a thing about admission in the last month, and they’re going to start notifying us tomorrow? are they too busy with applications or something? and does anyone think that due to the large increase in application they’ll be a bit more stats based this year?

90+ college credits> IB/AP

Still no unofficial transcript for me yet, only UW Bothell’s.

@masha000, I believe transfers are usually notified much later. Not in March.

@gellsam13, what do you mean by it? If you have an associate degree you are a transfer in the eyes of the university and you should’ve applied as one.

Agreed UDUBHUSKIES. I know in previous years (I was always interested in UW back in NYC), admissions was pretty active, and I know students even received decisions way early! I think they were not expecting such a high volume of applicants…it would only make sense to increase the amount of accepted applicants to compensate for the high volume of students that are applying. Also, last year was one of the highest number of applicants too…and of course they accepted more applicants, even odds were they would accept less. You never really know…but just my thoughts on everything.

soon they’re going to have to start accepting less than 50%, though. in 10 years it might be close to Berkeley or LA in terms of admissions. but i think they might be more about stats this year than essays because of all the applicants.

and i have a feeling the letters will get to us late this year, unfortunately.

to clarify, I’m part of a program called running start which allows me to take college courses during my junior and senior year. I am a high school senior like all of you guys, but I’ve been able to obtain over 90 college credits through this program and will have earned my associates by my high school graduation. Since I am graduating at the same time as my other high school students, I am still considered a freshman applicant under UW. If I had needed an extra quarter outside of highschool to wrap up my associates, then I would be considered a transfer student.

My unofficial transcript loaded but I’m pretty sure it’s only because I’m taking a UW college in highschool class at school. So, technically I’m a UW student currently.

What’s the website to check the UW unofficial transcript?

[MyUW Welcome](<a href=“UW NetID sign-in - Stale Request”>http://myuw.washington.edu/)

Login, click “Academics” on the side, then it’s at the bottom of the page!

Mine is there…but it says underneath college that it’s UW Bothell, then it has a summary of all my completed credits and SAT scores. What does that mean?

@udubhuskies and rsharma, relax! I received an e-mail on 3/11 saying, “We are in the midst of reviewing applications and on track to make and mail decisions according to our transfer notification period.” Note: I am a transfer student for the fall. But I’m sure if they’ve started ours, they’ve made their decisions with freshman (or at least the majority).

To find your unofficial transcript after you log into your MyUW Main Page. You find it under “Admissions” not “Academics”. Click on Admissions on the left. Once that page loads look on the right side near the bottom for your unofficial transcript.

OR you can click this: https://sdb.admin.washington.edu/students/uwnetid/unofficial.asp</a>

Your ‘Unofficial Transcript’ should load/display an error message. Don’t be afraid if it loads and the only thing that you see is your student no., birth date, class, college, major, with nothing on the transcript. They do not evaluate your transcript until after you’ve paid your deposit and plan to enroll (saves them time and money).

Oops yeah I guess it would be under Admissions. Mine was under Academics since I’m a student there

So if the Unofficial UW transcript page doesn’t load, is that a rejection or just not anything? Cuz mine says page not found and loads an error page :(

Transcript isn’t loading for me either. Freshman applicant here.

once again, no one’s is loading. maybe as the other poster suggested they found out the glitch.
