The next time someone gives you guff about Alabama being a sports factory, feel free to share this tidbit with him or her. For the record, I take no pleasure in sharing this.

Kyle Casey helped lead Harvard to a 26-5 record, its first-ever Ivy League title and its first NCAA tournament berth since 1946.

Harvard senior co-captain Kyle Casey plans to withdraw from school and is likely to miss the entire 2012-13 season after being implicated in a widespread academic cheating scandal, multiple sources told SI.com.

I know we are supposed to bow down to Harvard, however, I am not sure that Harvard has been good for our country over the last two decades. Larry Summers, and the other Harvard trained geniuses who have unleashed moral hazard in the banking industry, make for poor representatives of that esteemed institution.

Have y’all heard about the scandal at Emory as well?

In an Aug. 31 story in the New York Times, Harvard’s dean of undergraduate education, Jay Harris, said that the alleged cheating scandal is “unprecedented in its scope and magnitude.”

I guess they weren’t so smart at cheating. I love UA and will never regret my choice to attend here, and honestly, I don’t care if I never grace the classroom door at Harvard or any Ivy league institution. I personally think they are overrated. My point being though… How could you be so incredibly stupid to ruin your academic career and grand opportunity at Harvard. Rooooollll Tide!
