How do you guys deal with it?

weep secretly.
think about other girls.
listen to angry music.

p.s. hello, fellow ann-arborian! :D

They invented basements for a reason.

facebook stalking o_0

^This. No seriously…

Move on. Get over it.

You’ll look back at yourself when you’re 50 (or for me, like 18) and realize how much time you wasted.

vent to a friend, feel stupid for a bit for caring so much, and then love them platonically. liking friends is the worse though ugh-not going to lie, i still care.

That’s more along the lines of what you would do if you had a crush, I think.

hi!

I find that heavy drinking and indulging in as much random adultery possibly will suffice for roughly 6 months.

^ gfountain is actually on the right track. The drinking thing is up to you, but being with someone else will help you disconnect from the person causing you anguish.

The alcohol is a key component in acquiring a member of the opposite sex at a college “social venue” in that it causes you to be loud, obnoxious, and cocky.

Win.

More along the lines of hack her facebook, photoshop an “inappropriate” picture of her and upload it as her profile pic?

It’s pretty tough, but honesly, I found that the best thing for me was to spend less time with that person (I’ll use “him” since I’m a girl and I’m not sure of your gender). As I spent more time with other people, and less time with him, I found that my feelings faded somewhat, and when I did enounter him, it wasn’t nearly as painful because I wasn’t constantly reminded of what I was missing.

It sucks, but eventually you have to move on.

@gfountain - I was trying to not apply peer pressure but for the record I totally agree haha

Hello my other fellow Ann Arborites (it’s Ann Arborite, not Ann Arborian).
