Unstable CR

I started preparing for the SAT. However, my marks for critical reading are very unstable. Before I worked on my vocabulary, my score was generally in the 600s. My vocab was fairly bad, so I used a word list containing 2800 and I made flash cards for all the words that I didn't know(which ended up to be around 2200 words). After I finished going through all the cards (I think I memorized around 1/3 of them and forgot 2/3), there was a great improvement in my score. I did the entire CR section and I got 740 with deduction. I also did individual small sections, and I generally get 2 questions wrong per section. However, today, I did a whole practice exam, and to my surprise, my score fell back to 630 without deduction. I do time myself on all the practices I do, so the timing should not be a problem, but I think I went a bit overtime for the exam I just did today. For the first section I got 18/24 with 1 wrong SC, and for the second section I got 15/24 with 3 wrong SC! For the last short section, I only got 2 SCs wrong. I have been planning to take the real exam in June and I am aiming for 2300s.. before I thought I could achieve my goal, but with the result I received today, I really don't know what I am going to do. I usually receive a 5 for my essay, and I usually get 1-3 questions wrong Writing. I generally get 1-2 questions wrong for Math. Is it possible for me to maintain a stable score of 2300s? Please help D:
