Unsubsidized and Subsidized loan fees

Hello I'm new to the board and I think this is a very benefical source of information for those of us who have questions about financial aid and dont want to call the always helpful financial aid office...

anyways

I go to a small school in Maryland and can't get in touch with the financial aid office as soon as you call its busy and after a minute they pick up and hang up the phone
The question I have is I'm trying to figure out my expenses and things of that sort and have been awarded Unsubsidized and Subidized loans I know that I dont get the full amount and loan fees are taken out when the funds are disbursed does anyone know what these loan fees are or how I can find them out??
(my funds wont get disbursed until the fall 2006 if that helps)

I appreciate your help and thanks in advance

Some lenders do not impose the fees. You will need to search them out. If I remember the fees are taken from the loan at time of disbursement. You will pay interest on the total loan (amount disbursed plus the fee). Check websites of lenders, FAQ, they are very very good
