I know Columbia University has four branches- Barnard College, Columbia College, Columbia Engineering, and School of General Studies. Is it possible to apply to more than one? And if I want to apply to the Ivy League college which one is it, or do I just apply to Columbia University and that is the Ivy League?

Barnard College is a separate college, it just has an affiliation with Columbia. If you are female, you can apply there as well as Columbia. Many Barnard kids take Columbia classes, though.

If you are applying for undergraduate and are a rising senior, you would apply to either Columbia College or Columbia Engineering. Those are the 2 undergrad colleges. General Studies is for people returning to school, etc. All of these (Columbia College, Engineering, Gen Studies) are Ivy League since it is Columbia.
