Unweighted GPA calculation question

when you calculate the unweighted gpa do you take off all the 10 point additions for AP classes?

For example, if I had an 80 in US history, but with the ten points it was a 90.. when making an unweighted grade calculation would I put this down as a 4 or a 3?

thanks in advance

UN-weighted GPA means no weight for honors/AP classes.

80=3.0

I thought a 3.0 was a 75?

Unweighted:

A = 4.0

B = 3.0

C = 2.0

D = 1.0

No matter what level of courses you are taking.

So on my transcript the grades shown for my AP classes are inflated by 10 points… so would I count this inflated A as a 4?

also, if it’s inflated past 100 then would I count it as a 5 (say that I’m doing a weighted gpa now)

So a B+ is automatically a 3.5?

I thought a B+ was a 3.3?
