Unweighted GPA

<p>I'm a junior in HS. My HS doesn't calculate an unweighted GPA. When colleges get my transcript and see a grade with a minus or plus will they count them in my unweighted GPA? For example, if they see an A- and an A, will they calculate (3.67+4)/2 or will they just calculate (4+4)/2? Thanks. I always thought that you couldn't have higher than a 4.0 UW, so they must count A+ as an A right?</p>
