I know that UCs look at weighted, but what about private colleges? Do they most often weigh unweighted GPA more than the latter? I'm sorry if someone already posted this question.

Thank you in advance. =]

BUMPPP. Thanks. 20characters.

They serve different purposes. Weighted helps compare you to other students at your school, unweighted shows straight academic performance. However, many schools recalculate on their own scales because GPA is calculated differently at every school.

What about non-academic courses, such as art courses, etc.? Do you include or exclude them to calculate an unweighted GPA, or exclude them completely?

In Florida, GPA for eligibility for Bright Futures scholarships only count academic courses, but they do weight them by adding .5 for H, for example.

Depends on the school, some include non-academic courses, some don't.
