UofA or Rhodes

Between the two which has a better reputation nationally? And which is better for a Poli. Sci. major who intends to pursue a further education at a top law school. Any information will be helpful..Thanks alot!

and thats University of Arkansas-Fayetteville and Rhodes College in Memphis.

Rhodes for sure…

Anything else…any information would be beneficial!

bump!!!

IS UA-Fayetteville the flagship? If so, it will have the typical national recognition of, “oh, an Alabama state university.” In the national -academic- world, Rhodes is better known and probably more rigorous. However, it’s a liberal arts college, so don’t expect any stranger-on-the-street name recognition.

Rhodes College Lynx for sure

Are you interested in a small, rigorous liberal arts experience or a large, university setting? Which is more appealing to you?

I really like the atmosphere of a larger college better but in the long run size really doesn’t matter, I’m much more interested in my prospects after graduating college and entering the world of employment and graduate school!

If you seriously interested in graduate school, Rhodes is the better of the two.

you shouldn’t even need to think about this one…GO TO RHODES!!!

Good luck!

OK, you’ve graduated from college. People will ask where you went.

If you went to Rhodes, 9 times out of 10 you’ll get a blank look. But that 1 time out of 10 will have a very good impression of Rhodes.

If you went to Arkansas, you will almost certainly be greeted with “Soooeeee pig!”

Go to Rhodes.

bump!! bump!! bump!!

The answer is still Rhodes. No discussion. The poster Curmudgeon’s daughter took a full ride scholarship to Rhodes over her acceptances to Yale and Amherst.

What is the financial difference?
