<p>Hi everyone.
I got accepted into both schools, but I need some opinions on which to decide on. I'm going to be visiting both before the month is over to "get the feel" but I wanted some of your inputs.
I don't really care about the sports and rivalry between the schools.
I'm going to be majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
If I go to UofL, I will be in Speed School (already admitted) and in UK, I will be pre-major for the first two years. </p>

<p>What exactly are you asking us for? It looks like Louisville will admit you directly into engineering. That would seem to be preferable to some hoops to jump through at UK.</p>

<p>I would go with UofL, but really, these schools are pretty similar. Just visit and see which school you would rather attend.</p>
<p>UofL is miles ahead in regards to research.</p>
