UofM deferred me. My chances?

<p>I got deferred from UfoM <strong>College of Engineering</strong> which means it is tougher to get into. At Tech Day (October 2011) they released last's years kids credentials (Middle 50% was 31 ACT and 3.9 gpa).</p>

<p>Here's my deal:</p>

<p>3.82 gpa (calculated the way UofM wants it; rigorous courses)
31 ACT (35 English, 30 Math, 30 Reading, 27 Science)</p>

<p>My friend got accepted with a 33 ACT and 4.0 gpa (duh) but my other friend was deferred with a 3.9 gpa and a 32 ACT. That really scares me.</p>

<p>So, what are my chances? Thanks in advance for your time! :)</p>
