UofT Chemical Engineering - What are my chances?

Hello everyone! So this year, I applied to UofT chemical engineering and my overall average for the top six is around 87%ish rounded. I have some solid extracurriculars that I have gotten quite far in over the years and a few national awards for science and engineering. I am confident about my interview so hopefully that will help boost me up. I was wondering if students who have gotten into in the program or already are in the program can gage my chances of getting in? I would really appreciate it! Haha, I’m just waiting anxiously for the acceptances to come out next week and the wait is killing me… :stuck_out_tongue:

Tennessee, Texas, or Toledo?

I think s/he means toronto

Yes, I do mean Toronto! Sorry for not specifying. Haha, I live in Canada. Any insight would be helpful

I don’t go there myself, but the school is not cutthroat selective, and with those scores you are right on the cusp. If you had a good interview that helps, but Toronto usually disregards ec’s. Overall, your shot is pretty good.

Haha, I called them today however none of the branches, Scarborough, St. George or UTM are willing to reveal the admissions averages. Even the ones from last year, idk why it’s so confidential because other universities are willing to reveal them on their websites. But thank you very much for your feedback!
