Most students are coming from PA or neighboring states and drive or take the bus ([megabus US - Home](http://us.megabus.com/) or Greyhound). The closest Amtrak stops are in Altoona and Lewistown. There is [CATA | Centre Area Transportation Authority](http://www.catabus.com/) to the mall and other off campus destinations. You’d take a cab to/from the airport.

a lot drive up. those who take planes usually come from the west coast or south. since the state college airport is so small, i think many take flights to nearby metropolitan areas and travel from there.

as mentioned before, there is cata. very reliable. the blue, red, and white loops run on campus and are free. be prepared for max capacity on cold and snowy days for the blue loop.
