<p>" Dr. E.O. Wilson, a College alumnus and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner who is widely considered one of the world’s most influential scientists, will give two public talks March 30 on The University of Alabama campus.</p>
<p>Wilson will present the Blount Undergraduate Initiative 10th Anniversary Lecture and Colloquium, part of a year-long celebration honoring the anniversary of the founding of the program. "</p>

<p>Literary and Cultural Critic Trudier Harris Joins Department of English as visiting scholar in residence.</p>
<p>Acclaimed literary and cultural critic Dr. Trudier Harris will join the Department of English and College this month as a visiting scholar in residence. </p>
<p>Harris, a Tuscaloosa native, retired from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in July where she taught for 30 years and was the J. Carlyle Sitterson Professor of English. </p>

<p>TUSCALOOSA, Ala. The Chief Justice of the United States, John G. Roberts, Jr., will deliver The University of Alabama School of Laws spring 2010 Albritton Lecture on Tuesday, March 9 at 2 p.m. in room 287/288 of the Law Center.</p>
<p>Chief Justice Robertss visit will mark the ninth U.S. Supreme Court Justice since 1996 to lecture at the UA School of Law. His remarks will be followed by a short Q&A session, wherein the nations highest ranking judicial officer will field questions from Alabamas law students.
