Upcoming Test Prep Books!

Just in case you didn't know, whenever you want to find the most recently published books (or those that haven't even been published) on a site like amazon, you sort by "publication date."

Look like PR has got a new line of books:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/002-4582616-0444057

As does Kaplan (no covers available):

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/ix=books&rank=%2Bdaterank&fqp=author-exact%01Kaplan&nsp=score%01proj-unit-sales%02bin-fields%01none%02fpn%011&sz=10&pg=2/ref=s_b_np/002-4582616-0444057

And CollegeBoard:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/002-4582616-0444057

The third link doesn't work for me. Can you tell me when its coming out?

Sorry, hopefully this works? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/002-4582616-0444057

Edit--oops, no, it doesn't. Lemme try barnes & noble:

ps. the new pr book covers freak me out.

me too....some of the people are scary

LOL i thought the same too

i like their old designs better

I've found this info on amazon about two SEPARATE College Board SAT II subject tests books coming out September 28 (good timing for October tests!):

Biology
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0874476933/ref=pd_sim_b_2/103-1202762-9819009?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance
or ISBN 0874476933

History
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0874476925/ref=pd_sim_b_4/103-1202762-9819009?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance
or ISBN 0874476925.

Strange thing, both books are
Paperback: 500 pages
and
Language: English.
Well, English part is OK, I guess.

I called yesterday CB publishing and they were bouncing me to and fro, asking for the exact titles, cover looks, isbn's and almost my ssn, until finally said they'll research it and call me back.
They did today, and the typical CB shroud of secrecy is still intact and in place. All they said was that they can divulge and confirm information only from their site. No appeals or freedom of information act pages flailing can change that.
End of story.

Haha... I can't open up the links that Zachsta provided. How are the Princeton Review book covers like? What's so freaky about it?

There are people's faces on them. SCARY people's faces. Not really. But eh.

You know....isn't it kind of weird that some of these people are smiling as they do AP Calculus/Bio/Literature/etc?

and closing their eyes meditating

ya.......it's like...what the heck are they doing......they're weird...the 2004-2005 design is way better

Just becasue of that im not buying any 2006 PR books. I

Ok, sorry, new links.

College Board: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/results.asp?userid=2c7BWfjBCc&ATH=College+Board&sort=P&Go%21.x=23&Go%21.y=12

Kaplan: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/results.asp?userid=2c7BWfjBCc&ATH=Kaplan&sort=P&Go%21.x=32&Go%21.y=4
(mixed in with authors whose last name is Kaplan)

PR: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/results.asp?userid=2c7BWfjBCc&WRD=princeton+review&sort=P&Go%21.x=13&Go%21.y=18

Hahaha... those people on the covers seem to really enjoy doing A.P. tests!

Just being curious, has anyone experienced any trouble finding prep books? I couldn't find any Kaplan / Princeton Review / Barron's / Collegeboard / Grammatix 2005 SAT prep books at a local bookstore. :

Then just order them on www.amazon.com or www.barnesandnoble.com

Yeah I'll probably end up doing that, stix2400.

Note: New RocketReview coming out September 6th-- http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/045121644X/qid=1120296764/sr=1-15/ref=sr_1_15/103-2891060-4179062?v=glance&s=books

This one includes the word 'PSAT' in it, unlike the 2005 edition.
