<p>its not worth it because most semi-finalists become finalists anyway.</p>
<p>i mentioned being a finalist in an update email that also included a few awards and other "update" information, but i think that if the only update you have is being a finalist then it isn't really worth the hassle.</p>

<p>I haven't done it, don't think it's necessary because 15/16 semis become finalists anyway, and the only reason you wouldn't be 15/16 is if you had terrible grades like D's and F's (and yale'd see that anyway)</p>
