We got an email notification today stating that the decision was online. Daughter got her Rochester decision last week.

I received my acceptance letter back in February (February 25th to be exact), but have yet to receive any information regarding financial aid.

I called the financial aid office on Wednesday and was told that an email was sent to me March 8. Either I completely missed it or it never reached me (but I’m sure I would have noticed it). I was told to email my financial aid counselor which I did, also on Wednesday.

I haven’t received a reply yet, but I understand that it’s only been two business days since. Perhaps I’m just being a bit impatient as UR is my first choice and I really hope to attend.

I hope it comes next week though. :x

sportzfan, when are you planning to visit UR?

scionn… The financial aid office has had a large volume of visitors recently and has been quite busy, though my hope is that your e-mail will get a response soon. If not, don’t be afraid to contact them again. This is important information that you should have with enough time to make important decisions regarding your future.

My son got his acceptance letter some weeks back, and is a finalist for the Renaissance Global Scholarship. We are waiting to receive the final decision letter within this week. We are from Manila, Philippines and he’s very excited about the opportunity to study at the Univ. of Rochester. I hope it’s good news!

good luck, tori01!

Thanks MConklin!

I hadn’t received my decision on Friday, but I was confident I would receive it today.
I didn’t receive it today either, so I called the admissions office up, and it turns out that my decision letter hasn’t been mailed out yet.

Any ideas on why this may have happened? I’m so confused.

EDIT: I also suspect that I’ve been rejected, because I haven’t yet received an e-mail from Roch - you know, something along the lines of “Hey, Congrats! We love you!” Did anyone who was accepted get some sort of e-mail notification?

EDIT: Nevermind, saw wordlvr’s post.
