Update grade conformation instant?

I was wondering if you guys received a conformation email that you have updated grades?

I haven't yet and i did mine yesterday? after i updated my grade yesterday i went back to

check, but accidentally started the updating process again. Now it says "In Progress" when

I am at the menu. what should i do? finish it again?

same thing happened to me, not sure if i should finish it or not. also, did you list your classes for spring semester as planned or in progress?

Planned, why progress it’s not spring?

You put “in progress” because your already registered for those classes.

Are you guys able to see the classes from semesters before Fall 2010?

@pianocat no one got an email after updating their fall grades it was an error cuz i know the website said that they would. and i accidentally clicked on update transfer app after i had already submitted it and it says in progress but i don’t think you do anything cuz you already submitted. the reason why it says in progress is because your allowed to update your grades as many times as u want (in case u make mistakes) til the deadline which is jan 31st.

@xxk4ixx you CAN NOT edit any grades from before fall 2010 if that is what you mean.

So are u going to leave it in progress or finish it again? Also did u put for spring planned or in progress?

I put Planned for my Spring courses since I haven’t started them yet, even though I’m registered.

I put planned because they aren’t starting yet. I also thought you could change your previous grades, it let me go through the whole process of entering my academic history again.

don’t listen to Samy’s ■■■■■■■■ logic.

Yeah, put it as “in progress” even though you’re on winter break…

I called my school’s transfer center today and they told me it is better to list spring classes as planned because they might think it’s a winter class or something. They also said that if you wanted you could wait until classes actually started and list them as in progress then.

@pianocat no im not gonna finish it theres no point you know? i already updated everything and if you did too then your fine and u dont need to update it again just leave it. and for spring i put planned because i am taking winter right now.

@jvesco22 no no no if you are not in spring semester right now then you DO NOT put in progress (this is coming from a ucla rep that i talked to) you put planned because you are planning to take it…duh.

^

re-read my post and who it was directed at…

I called Ucsb today and spoke to a woman about my tag and also asked her about the progress and in progress, she said “if your registered for the class and it’s on your transcript even though you haven’t started yet then you can put in progress, if it isn’t on your transcript and your not actually in rolled in the class be because the semester isn’t about to start i.e summer, then you can put planned” that’s what she told me…that’s dumb for the school to mix up spring with winter when it clearly says what semester your taking the classes in. Also when filling for financial aid they go by the classes your regesterd in prior to the semester actually starting.

And @ Jvesco, you said the exact same thing I said. Moron!

alright everyone relax. im sure it doesn’t make a difference as long as they know what classes ur taking…you’ll be fine.

It matters not, but seeing as you’ve got until the 31st to submit, you can change it any time up to then. I already put mine as In Progress and they don’t start till the week after next lol. I have been at my college forever and then some, so I get early reg and if they kick me for being late I’ll fight with my nails (it works!)

While updating the transfer application were you guys able to see your classes before Fall 2010? While updating my transfer application I wasn’t able to see any of the classes before Fall 2010, was this the case with you guys?

Nevermind my previous comment…
