<p>I'm writing an interest letter to columbia after my deferral. I have my update on another essay and i'm just trying to focus on my interest. How do you start your letter?
Dear admissions commitee,
my name is _____ and i was deferred and i want to express my interest.
? Seriously how do u write it ?</p>
<p>I would guess that starting off indirectly about your interest in the school (place yourself as if you were actually a student there) would be better than directly stating it.
However, someone needs to challenge this, for I know I am missing a lot.</p>
<p>that's a great idea you should do it with a resume it shows that you're not going to let this deferral get to you</p>
