Update: On campus housing for Freshmen!!!

I just took the housing tour and it was wonderful, but I will worn, because I do not remember reading it on the website, my 1st choice was the apartment style at Nike. Those rooms are NOT available to Freshmen. But all other housing is.
If you have questions about anything I am happy to help, I am from Florida and have sent a lot of time looking/reading about the schools here.

To start off, which are set aside for freshman as priority?

I am looking at Apollo for its price and the fact that they have a common area.

Students returning to campus may live in the Nike and Hercules apartments or the Towers at Knights Plaza apartments. All other space is reserved for incoming freshmen.

The nike/hercules apartments ARE AVAILABLE to FRESHMAN during SUMMER B though (just NOT for Fall/Spring). My daughter lived there last summer B (and it was all freshman for the summer) and then she moved into the Towers for the Fall.

all housing is on a first come kinda thing, but they said on the tour that lake caire is for freshman, I think that I will go to Apollo, they just got remodeled and are nice.

freshman are given priority over upperclassmen, and upperclassmen can only apply for towers/nike.

freshmen strictly speaking aren't given priority over housing. Freshmen can apply ANYWHERE except herc/nike apts. Upperclassmen can apply only for herc/nike apts or Towers (where all applicants get in).

I did not know this information, I am glad that this is how it works though.

Lake Claire is for upperclassmen as well, right?

Upperclassmen cannot live in Lake Claire. It is only for freshman. Upperclassman can only live in the Nike/Hercules apartments or Towers.

Wow, I did not know that. I was planning on living there next year.

Thanks for the information.
