Just got an email from admissions and due to some printing delays it states the packages should be arriving by 5/15 and the medical forms submission date has been extended to 5/30

Does anyone know the general nature of the medical forms? Are they forms that we can fill out on our own, or do we need to have our doctor complete them?

Good to know!

I'd like to know the answer to this question, too. Should I be making a Doctor's appointment? Sometimes it's hard to get one with short notice.

Shot record must be signed by Dr. Office.

I don't suppose anyone feels like relisting all of the shots that you have to have before or on i-Day. I would kind of like to get that taken care of.

Do we find out which company we're in in the Permit to Report Package?

no, i've heard that comes closer to I-day. could change this year, though. who knows.

Wait, we get to find out which company we're in before I-Day. I just assumed we didn't find out 'til then.

that's what i thought, too. but i was looking through some of the old topics here and candidates were posting their companies before i-day. it looked like they received something in the mail pretty close to i-day saying which company/platoon they're in. i think the academy might have done it that way so that candidates would know what their mailing address was.

You will know your summer company.... ie...alpha, bravo, oscar, etc....and your number company.

usually the summer "letter" companies are comprised of 2 "number" companies... for example, alpha= 1&2, oscar = 27&28

and you should have your mailing address several days prior to reporting. Your mailing address for the summer will use your LETTER company; following reform your address will revert to your NUMBER company.

Everything comes in time.

all the typical childhood vaccinations.
What you should add to that is hepatitis and mengenica (for menningitis)
As the hepatitis vaccinations are a series of 3 shots, you should get started on those ASAP if you have not already done so.

Whatever vaccinations are not completed will be administered on I-Day.... personally, was grateful our Mid did not have to spend I-day and the first few days of plebe summer nursing a sore muscle at the injection site. Something to think about.
