I don't have really outstanding EC's in comparison to other applicants who are working to cure cancer or write the next #1 Best Selling book. There are many students in my school who have or have had amazing internships at NIH, NASA, the Senate, and the House. However, all of my extracurriculars are very personal to me and I am truly passionate about them.
I grouped them around my main interests/skills: Academics, Chinese Language and Culture, and Charity

As a precaution, I would like to say that I am not trying to be stuck-up or pretentious or obnoxious and I am truly sorry if I come off as suck. I just want to hear what others think of my chances at these schools.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

…wow. You have a good chance at all of those schools. You’re definitely a competetive applicant. If it were me I’d do Princeton SCEA. totally up to you.

Your GPA/SAT is right around the average mark for these schools (as an unhooked applicant), but your ranking is definitely a plus.

However, the lack of leadership and depth/focus in your ECs might be an issue. If I was just looking at your ECs without knowing your intended major (biology/medicine), I would think you are trying to pursue studies in Chinese, if you see what I mean. I would say Princeton SCEA may be a high reach, but applying ED to Duke (with the right essay) might just give you the edge to get in.

Honestly I think you would have a pretty good chance at any schools below HYPMS. As for those schools, I think you have a good shot EA or ED. Even without early you would still have a pretty decent chance

Oh yeah and please chance back
