Grades for the first marking period are out for my senior D. Would it be of any benefit to have an updated transcript sent out? Her grades this marking period were all A's and 1 B. She is trying to get in UP with a 3.3 UW 3.9 W and a 1920 SAT.

It could not hurt to send them!

I thought they just looked at it at the end of the junior year.

yeah i think they do. and with those SAT scores and a 3.9 she really shouldn't be worried. most likely, she will get in

I called the admissions office last week with that question. They told me not to bother as they would not look at senior year grades. We thought it would help show my S upward trend in his QPA.

Even if it was possible, that would disadvantage so many other applicants that are doing well this year but messed up his/her previous years.

Thanks for the info. Just trying to do anything that would help. Penn State UP is where she has her heart set.

^Same goes for me, I put all my chips in one pot.
