Update

For those who wanted to know (thumperdad lol and others,)

I have chosen Loyola New Orleans to go to this year...

LONG STORY. I got no scholarship or anything to Miami even though I qualified (I fought with them but they did not budge.) And I can't afford 200k+...in a field that I may not make too much money at least to start lol. Whereas loyola without money would be like 150k...but i got 14k a year so it's a lotttt less than Miami.

Harumph. I was disappointed when I got notification but what can you do? I'm looking forward to Loyola! Anybody else going?

I'm so glad for you, Jeremy, after last year. I hope you'll be very happy there and thrive!!

Congrats!

and look at another plus... you already know your way around!

Jeremy, congrats! I really think you are going to enjoy the vibe on the other
side of the fence (from Tulane, that is). Good luck and be sure and take advantage of all the wonderful opportunities at Loyola.

You will love it.

Jeremy - congratulations on the decision. I thought maybe my D and you were going to be the last to decide, but there are still a few days left.

ACTUALLY...now here I get an email ten minutes ago that Miami wants to consider me for a music scholarship...can't they make up their minds haha.
I still haven't mailed in the forms to Loyola...and I really just want to have this done with!!! lol. This is frustrating I almost am over Miami but...I'm kind of confussed.

So happy for you! I hope Miami gives you a hefty amount...if not, then Loyola is a great choice as well.....

Thanks Dable!! We shall see...I'm cautiously optimistic, NOT sure what to expect at this point haa.

Hi Jeremy, wish Frost could appreciate how many people are rooting for you! :)

Weird scenario--and correction--They're not considering me for a music scholarship, but just general..AND I HAVE ONE MORE WEEK until I have to decide already and they're not letting me know.
I might just completely screw it at this point lol. I'm so confused. I still want to go there but I can't do anything. Any advice? haha.

This prof. hasn't emailed me back yet.

well, isn't Loyola NO less expensive?

Well Jeremy...do keep us posted. Maybe Miami will come through for you.

Yup, Loyola is definitely more expensive, but it's ultimately my number one choice (Loyola is basically tied for number one and i know i'd be perfectly happy there and I love it there, but I thought maybe being in a bigger school of music would be better for me. We'll see though how things play out haha.)

Oops, I mean, Miami is more expensive** I am making so many typos tonight. Blah.

And The Saga Continues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They have been arguing back and forth as to whether or not I Should get money and they're telling me tomorrow, The point of no return. They better get their badonkadonks in gear because my patience is thinner than a mutilated piece of hair

Jeremy - this is strange. Are they actually telling you that they are arguing over giving you money?

Yup! Half the people I have spoken to say there is NO money left, and someone called me and said there was, then another person called and said they were lying, and then the person who accused the other one of lying said they were proven wrong...AND THEN the original person called back and said there wasn't anything...
then a new person called and said there might be. IT's confusing and my brain hurts haha. It's just...so weird. I almost don't care at this point y'know?

I'M GOING TO FROST!!!!! HALLELUYAH!!!!!
They finally came through with money. omg.

What a saga. I followed you on the UMiami site. Congratulations!!!!!!
